Founder Thurston Jones is a retired elementary school teacher in the Philadelphia area. He taught for over 30 years and directed a day and overnight camp for 24 years. He presently pastors a church outside of Philadelphia and oversees 48 churches in Liberia.
Co founder Victoria Nyema began the work in Liberia shortly after Pastor Jones arrived. She was instrumental in explaining the program to parents. The program quickly grew from 15 to over 100 in Liberia in a matter of weeks. Unfortunately, she passed away in August 2024 after a brief illness. Now two of her daughters carry on her work.

"My dream and vision are, working for the kingdom of God through helping children in need, and helping them understand their value in the things of God. I believe in teaching children to become a blessing in the kingdom of God. I believe this can be done through supporting our children. In Africa, many children are unable to go to school, and church, due to the parents being unable to meet their needs. Most parents are not working. Some are farmers. Some do not believe in education, or the church. As a result, many children have little inspiration to grow academically, socially, or spiritually. However, with your help spiritual, moral, and financial we can help these children become better persons for tomorrow."
Agatha Nyema leads the program in the Harper area.
Dominique Djeha is one of the coordinators in Grand Bereby.
Kouassi Blaise is the other coordinator in Grand Bereby.
